Profile: Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine (FMAM) is a quarterly publication that seeks to nourish writers and artists. They feel that there is a tremendous amount of energy in the writing community and that the future "market value" of writers will be "higher than can be imagined." FMAM considers itself a "stepping stone for many younger writers."

Publication Needs: FMAM accepts most forms of fiction, including adventure, fantasy, horror, humorous, mainstream, mystery, science fiction, romance, and suspense. They may lean towards thrillers, mystery, and suspense; however, they do not accept pornography or erotica and will rarely publish non-fiction.

Story Length: Accepts submissions up to 10,000 words.

Rights Purchased: FMAM requires First Rights—no previously published work. Publisher requests notice if the work is a simultaneous submission or if the author has never been published before.

Payment Terms: FMAM may pay between $10.00 - $50.00 per story.

Submission Guidelines: Submissions should be in plain text and pasted into the body of an e-mail. E-mail attachments will not be accepted. All work should be proofread. Work should be formatted and submitted according their submission guidelines.

Response Time: Responds in 1 week to queries; 3 months to manuscripts.

Publisher's Notes: FMAM recommends reviewing the publication prior to submitting. Work should be proofread (authors should not rely on spellchecker) and listed in a category that most suits the work.
