Editorial Evaluation
An Editorial Evaluation (Developmental Review) offers authors the chance to have their work read and critiqued prior to the editing process. Though content organization and flow are reviewed when obtaining an Extensive Edit, extensive changes—such as a point of view change, plot and character strengthening, or substantive reorganization—can often lead to the necessity of additional extensive edits. A review can also provide authors with assistance in refining their initial manuscript drafts. (Please note that a manuscript review does not include a copyedit. If you would like to receive a copyedit, please choose another service type.)
