Graphics Services

We offer electronic alteration and refinement of graphics, illustrations, and photographs. We also offer high-resolution scanning; storage on diskette, CD, or DVD; and graphic conversion. This means we can scan your image, save it in the requested file format, and create a disk or CD containing your images. File formats include BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, and PDF.

If you have images that you would like to include in your manuscript, we can place an electronic reproduction in your formatted text file, saved for printer or web settings. We can also help you create tables, graphs, and charts to illustrate your content.

Basic Cover Layout

If you have images to use for your cover but do not have the necessary software or design experience to put it all together, we will take your existing high-quality images and design concepts and create a printer-ready cover.

Basic Cover Layout may include:

Conversion of .doc and .sxw covers to JPG, GIF, PSD, or PDF format
Image scanning
Placement of text and high-quality images, including book title, author name, back cover text, author photo, or full bleed front and back cover images
Setting print specifications, such as color model, print resolution, and cover dimensions

Please note that this service is for cover layout only rather than image creation or graphic design. If you do not have an image or layout concept that you would like to use for your cover and need graphic design assistance, we may be able to recommend a third-party cover designer. All images must be high-quality (at least 300DPI) in order to receive a quality cover. We would be happy to evaluate your images and cover concept for suitability.
