Sample Edit Submissions

In order to receive your free sample edit and quote, you must submit your manuscript sample as an electronic document or as a hardcopy. (There may be an additional charge for hardcopy edits.) Hardcopy manuscripts must be received through postal mail. Electronic manuscripts may be submitted using one of the following methods:

E-mail - Send us your file/s using an e-mail program. (Netscape, Outlook Express, AOL, Hotmail, etc.)

Postal Mail - Save your file to a floppy disk or CD and mail it to our postal address. (Slowest turnaround time.)

If you are submitting through postal mail and would like your manuscript sample returned to you, you must provide us with a stamped, self-addressed envelope large enough to hold your hardcopy manuscript, CD, or disk. Please do not send originals, as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged materials.

All submissions will be edited using a Track Changes or Annotations function unless other arrangements have been made. This means that all changes made to your document will appear as redline text for your review. (See Sample.) For more information on Track Changes, choose between Microsoft Word 97/2000, Microsoft Word 2002/XP, or Corel WordPerfect tutorials.

You may submit electronically using Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, Open Office, Plain Text, or Rich Text format only. If you are an Apple Macintosh user or have conflicting software and need to submit in a non-specified format, please indicate this in your preliminary contact. If you cannot submit electronically, please review the guidelines for Submitting a Hardcopy Manuscript Sample.
