Postal Mail - Electronic Submissions

When submitting a floppy disk or CD through postal mail, please make sure to protect them from damage. Please also verify the contents of the disk or CD before mailing to make sure that they are accessible and that your files have not been corrupted. All files will be checked for viruses before they are accessed. If your files contain a virus or are corrupted, you will be contacted so that you may send them again. To submit your manuscript sample on floppy disk or CD using postal mail:

1. Prepare a sample of the first 15 - 20 pages of your manuscript.
Please be sure to name your file in a way that will identify it as yours. (Use your first initial and last name or your book title rather than "Chapter1.") If you need assistance in creating a sample document, please review our Tutorials. Acceptable formats include Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, Open Office, Plain Text, and Rich Text formats.

2. Determine the total or projected word count for your manuscript.

3. Complete the Sample Edit Submissions Form (PDF) or prepare an introductory page containing the following:

Contact Information - This should include your full name, e-mail address, and a telephone number where you can be reached.

Book Information - This should include your book title, full manuscript word count, and the services you would like to obtain. (View our Services.)

Publishing Information - This should include the name of your current publisher (if applicable), possible publishing or editorial deadlines, and referral information. (Please tell us how you heard about us. Some referrals may be eligible for a discount.)

Please be sure to include this information, as we will be unable to complete your sample edit and quote without it.

4. Contact us for our postal address.
Prior to mailing, please contact submit@integrativeink.com or 941-366-0111 with your query. You will then receive a postal address where you may direct your submissions. Unsolicited manuscripts will not be accepted through postal mail.

*Note: Postal submissions may have a slightly longer turnaround than submissions received through e-mail. Quoted turnaround does not include mail-time.
