Submitting a Hardcopy Manuscript

All hardcopy submissions will be converted for electronic editing using Microsoft Word Track Changes or Corel WordPerfect Annotations.

Please be sure to indicate, in advance, if your preferred Return Format Method has changed since you received your sample edit. Authors may choose between receiving a floppy disk or CD of the electronic sample and/or a printout displaying the changes. (Electronic samples must be viewed using Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect. If you do not have this software or a computer, you may choose between a color or black&white printout.)

To submit your manuscript as a hardcopy using postal mail:

1. Prepare the completed manuscript and any additional text to be reviewed.
Additional text may include author bios, previews, or press statements and will be handled at no extra cost provided they are submitted with the manuscript and do not exceed 1 - 2 pages each in length.

Make sure that your manuscript is typed on plain white paper, double-spaced, and printed on a single side only. Please make sure that the text is clear (no smudges, blurring, or faded print). Pages should be numbered and your name should be included in the top left or right-hand corner of each page. Please do not staple or attach permanent bindings to your pages. If you are unable to format your manuscript in this manner, please let us know in your preliminary contact.

2. Compile graphics or specific formatting information.
If formatting or graphics services have been obtained, please be sure to provide us with any specific materials or information requested.

If it is necessary to mail materials, such as photographs, please avoid sending originals. If you require materials to be returned, please be sure to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your submission. Materials will be returned upon completion of the work.

3. Prepare an introductory page containing the following:

Contact Information - This should include your full name, an e-mail address or telephone number where you can be reached, and a street address.

Book Information - This should include any specific editorial notes, style sheets, or information not supplied in the sample edit process.

4. Contact us for our postal address.
Please contact submit@integrativeink.com or 941-362-0111 for mailing information, if necessary. Unsolicited manuscripts will not be accepted through postal mail.

*Note: Quoted turnaround does not include mail-time. All manuscripts are returned using Priority Mail unless otherwise specified.
