Submission Guidelines - General
In order to provide you with a free sample and quote, we will need to review a portion of your manuscript.
A sample may be submitted in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.org, PDF, Rich Text Format, or Plain Text. If you are unable to submit in one of these formats, please contact us, and we will discuss additional submission options. Submit a sample of your manuscript for a free sample edit, format, and quote using our Sample Edit Request Form or our Sample Format Request Form.)
Samples should include at least the first 15 - 20 pages of your manuscript (for editing) or the first two chapters (for formatting). If you cannot submit using our submissions form, please contact us with the following information:
The full word count of your manuscript
The service or services you are requesting
15 - 20 pages of your manuscript (for editing) or the first two chapters (for formatting).
A telephone number where you can be reached
Publishing deadlines or preferred start dates
Referral information (Please tell us how you were directed to integrative ink.
Some referrals may be eligible for a discount or expanded services.)
Please be sure to include this information, as we will be unable to complete your quote without it.
Once we receive your sample, we will complete a sample edit or format, free of charge, and return it to you with a quote. The quote will specify job fee, suggested service type, turnaround, and possible start dates. (You should receive your sample and quote within 3 - 5 business days.) Completing a sample allows us to familiarize ourselves with an author's work, while allowing authors the opportunity to review our editorial style, technique, and formatting method prior to making a final decision.
