They offer free, basic copyediting; format and prepare all aspects of the work for print; and offer basic marketing and promotion. They will assume the job of selling and promoting the work, and will copyright the book at their expense. (Vantage Press stresses that authors should be realistic regarding sales expectations. Most books by new authors may not sell well, or regain publishing fees.)
